I arrived late, so Shadow Hunters was already going when we started a game of my prototype Infected. It has been awhile since I have played my creation, it took 2nd place at the Ion awards 2 years ago and is currently under review by White Goblin games. We played average difficulty for 4 players and it had its tense moments, but by the end we were in no real danger when we left the complex in turn 13. The rabid monkey was released but was never able to do much damage. I clearly had the most survivors with me, but Tyler had collected more research items and beat me by one point.
Games of Blokus and Thunderstone were played in other groups as we broke out a few sets of Jab, a real time boxing game that I seem to not be quick enough in playing. I had Dallin down 2 rounds to one, but he came back and knocked me out in the 5th round even though I was leading on points. The fun thing about Jab is that there a variety of ways to score ands its near impossible to do all at the same time.
The remaining late crew played Lost Cities: the boardgame, and we got to play all three rounds. I got creamed and came in last as I could never get far on a single exploration. It is a fairly easy and light game with some good decisions but not heavy strategy.
